Well, another ship has joined the Yotsuya's Shipyard fleet! Check out the U.S.S. Fumizuki. Enjoy!
Two more ships are available for viewing, the U.S.S. Coulson and the U.S.S. Usagi.
Also, a "Bonus Designs" page has been added that features designs not included in the official canon of Yotsuya's Shipyard. It may be a little while before further updates are forthcoming, as this concludes the addition of all ships Yotsuya had designed prior to constructing a website on which to feature them. Don't worry, though! Eventually, the future will bring further designs. In the meantime, enjoy what is here and do feel free to comment! A new page is available on this website, for fellow starship designers, providing clean versions of some of the design elements that are somewhat original to Yotsuya's Shipyard. Happy designing!
Now docking at Yotsuya's Shipyard is the U.S.S. Gemini... a two for one special!
Two new original designs join Yotsuya's Shipyard, both Frigate designs: The U.S.S. Inconceivable and the U.S.S. Haywood Floyd.
In addition, two more preexisting designs (included on this website to help provide context) have been added, probably the final two Franz Joseph based designs that will be included on this site. These are the U.S.S. Hermes and the U.S.S. Al Rashid. Now available for (hopefully) your enjoyment, the U.S.S. Denton, the U.S.S. Playa del Fuego, and the U.S.S. Honeycutt.
One of these are original designs, the U.S.S. Hornblower.
With the focus of this website being classic film-era designs, and with the canon Constitution and Miranda classes already having been added, the exclusion of the other two known canon designs of this era was starting to seem a bit strange. Thus, it was decided to include these as well. Unfortunately, these designs were not available from Vance's Schematics. And it is amazing how different a feel starship schematics can have when drawn up by different people! A schematic for an Oberth Class (the class of the U.S.S. Grissom from Star Trek III) was found that I felt I could modify to be close enough, and thus the U.S.S. Kristiansen was born. When acceptable Excelsior Class schematics are found, this ship will be included as well. But strangely, this is an odd class to find good schematics of! Another officially canon class, rather then an original design. While not yet mentioned on other pages on this website, some of the original designs soon to be added will likely make mention of it. And so the Miranda Class has been added as a preemptive measure.
