Greetings! And welcome to Yotsuya's Shipyard. Here you will find starship designs, based on the aesthetic displayed in the classic Star Trek films.
These designs, and associated histories, were produced by Matthew "Yotsuya" Atanian. They were made in large part using elements found in "Vance's Toolkits," as found on The Star Trek LCARS Blueprint Database. Some designs also borrow elements from a book titled, "Star Fleet: Ships of the Starfleet Printing Office," by Neale Davidson — based on the works of Aridas Sofia and Todd Guenther. And, of course, it goes without saying that all elements, either borrowed or original to the works contained within, are inspired by designs from the Star Trek universe.
(A few starship designs not original to Yotsuya's Shipyard may be included for context. When this happens, attribution will appear in the additional notes included on the bottom of that design's page.)
If you have a Star Trek starship schematic website on which you wish to display any of the original designs found on this website, you are welcome to do so. It is only asked that you contact Yotsuya to let him know, attribute the design to "Yotsuya's Shipyard, using elements from Vance's Toolkits," and provide a link with the attribution back to this website. (As for the few designs featured here that come from other sources, please go to that source.)
The ship designs within have names and registry numbers that hopefully will not conflict with any of those found within canon Star Trek productions. Given the sheer number of fan produced starship designs that exist, however, it is likely that some names or registry numbers could be duplicated. No offense in intended by this potential duplication, and it is up to each individual fan to decide which design (if any) they would like to consider "official" in their personal "head-canon."
Be sure to visit the Shipyard Notice Board to discover what are the latest ships to join the fleet, and if you'd like to you can comment on them there.
Again, welcome. Enjoy exploring Yotsuya's Shipyard!
